Bob's Baby Boomer Band

Bob's Baby Boomer Fans, Seasons Greetings!

We want to thank our loyal and dedicated BBB Fans for a wonderful 2013 season of music and dance. Many fans followed us through our wonderful 2013 venues; Brunswick Forest, The Cotillion, Elks Club, JJ's Pub at Magnolia Greens, Ruckerjohns, Senior Over 50' Dances, The Wilmington Men's Club. Yes it was a live, local, and interactive year to be sure. What a HOOT!

We are still reeling from the loss of our guitar player Jeff Sama, and still adjusting to our uninvited status as a trio. Fortunately our fans still feel like dancin'.  Jeff was loved and is sorely missed. We continue to feel his celestial vibe playing on with us from above.

The BBB members, Main Man Martin, Chief Charlie and Lightning Bob are taking a well deserved hiatus for the remainder of the 2013 holiday season.

Each member has plans to travel in order to enjoy the family Christmas festivities to the max.

Whether we are semi-retired or semi-employed we are  having full time fun!
We hope it was, and will continue to be, major fun for you, our fans, also. Thank you!

We hope to see you all, safe and sound in 2014
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!  from the Baby Boomer Band ;-)

Christmas cards

Now I know why we have not sent cards in five years.  They are unbelievably labor intensive.  Fifty hours is probably a conservative estimate.  If something could have gone wrong,  it did:    missing pictures, wrestling with Quark and photoshop, the updated Quark is still a mystery to me.

The surprise event of 2012 was the marriage of Evan and Cheryl Hauck in August  2012.  They got married in Hawaii. We found out via a text message I received on my way to the hospital where Bob was coping with a pulmonary embolism. He fine now.  We were both thrilled about this news.

50th Wedding Anniversary

This is going to take some creative posting since I need to catch up on two years of meaningful events.  2012 was a big year.  Anne and Bob celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. We were married in Fort Lauderdale.  Celebrated in Disneyworld.
